ASLEF strike action is on spurious groundsDecember 14, 2011
Commenting on the threat of Tube strikes on Boxing Day
Baroness Jo Valentine, Chief Executive of London First, said:
“ASLEF seems determined to disrupt London for the second year running, regardless of the impact this has on the economy. A strike on Boxing Day will reduce valuable trade at retailers and other businesses in the West End. With only 42% of drivers that were balloted voting for this walkout this action seems to be on wholly spurious grounds.”
