Brexit resilience for London

While the shock of Brexit will take time to dissipate, it is important that we consider the strategic and operational implications of the new political environment. There are sure to be new challenges in both security and resilience for the business community in London.

Next Thursday, London First will bring together a range of experts to consider the early effects and the possible consequences that large and small businesses will need to consider in their planning.

The breakfast briefing on 21 July will be chaired by the Chairman of the Security & Resilience Advisory Board at London First, Sir David Veness CBE QPM.

Examining the impactions for London will be:

  • John Barradell OBE, Town Clerk and Chief Executive, The Corporation of London
  • Howard Dawber, Strategic Adviser, Canary Wharf Group plc
  • Stefan Gershater, Director, UK&I Advisory, Ernst & Young LLP

They will be speaking about the consequences for the corporate sector and London’s ability to show commercial resilience, while giving their advice for executives on how to manage risk under uncertainty.
