Comment on Commons Culture, Media and Sport Committee report on tourismJuly 10, 2008
A spokesman from business organisation London First responded to the House of Commons Culture, Media and Sport Committee report on Tourism. In reference to the report’s comments on Heathrow, he said:
“Getting the visitor experience right at Heathrow is crucial – first impressions are often lasting. Many London First members are frequent flyers. The Heathrow passenger experience is amongst their top concerns. However, Terminal 5 might well be the first step to transforming this. British Airways’ introduction of a dedicated business check-in area – a response to passengers’ comments – is also a move in the right direction.”
