Commenting on this year’s A-level results

Commenting on this year’s A-Level results Michael Rooney, Chief Operating Officer at London First, said:

“Today’s A-Level results show the commitment and success of young Londoners. Many of these will now be looking to go onto university to develop their talents, and business looks forward to benefitting from this. But universities are facing once in a generation changes to the way they operate; London’s status as a world centre of higher education excellence must not be jeopardised by this. Government must provide certainty on its plans to open up the HE market and do more to ensure they are both financially sound and do not hamper social mobility.”
