Countering terrorism briefing for LF members

The increase in the national threat level – and recent arrests in the UK – has refocused minds on the nature and scale of the challenge from terrorism. As a result, next month will see the launch of the Government’s national Counter-Terrorism Awareness Campaign

In a timely briefing from London First, businesses in the capital can hear from the experts in counter-terrorism about the latest situation and the associated protective measures. The breakfast briefing on 13 Nov will feature Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley QPM, Specialist Operations, Metropolitan Police, as a key-note speaker, supported by two officers from the Met’s Counter-Terrorism Protective Security Command.

Sir David Veness CBE QPM, Chairman Security & Resilience Advisory Board at London First, will chair the session.
