Delivering City & Corporate Resilience

London First is delighted to present its second Global Resilience Summit 2016, which will take place on Wednesday 19 October 2016, in Westminster, at QEII Centre.

The theme for 2016 will be Delivering City & Corporate Resilience, and the Summit will look to advance the understanding, leadership and benchmarking of resilience in major cities like London.

It will focus on the key issues of organisational, reputational and digital resilience that demand Board-level attention in managing long-term risks from shocks and stresses in communities and corporates.

The outcomes will help Boards and senior management in both the public and private sectors drive resilience forward: it will also incorporate the results of project work on micro-community resilience that London First has been leading under the title of ‘London Bridges’.

Confirmed speakers include:

  • Leadership in Resilience addresses from high profile speakers including Tim Collins OBE, CEO, New Century Consulting
  • Discussions on Community Resilience and Developing Local Partnerships with Sébastien Maire, Chief Resilience Officer, City of Paris
  • A conversation with Guo Chentao, Head of Policy Analysis, Chinese Embassy, on China: Lessons from an Economic and Technological Powerhouse
