Developing London’s Future Leaders

The Future Leaders Summit was an opportunity for young leaders to develop their strategic and analytical skills in a different setting and exchange ideas with peers from other sectors and organisations.

This year’s theme was London’s Economic Development Agenda, produced by London First with McKinsey on behalf of the London Enterprise Panel. The programme was designed to be a flexible, engaging and practical compliment to personal and professional development.

The summit, delivered in partnership with Canary Wharf Group, was a highly interactive day, including a set of strategic skills sessions led by experts from London Communications Agency, Four Communications and ING Media; followed by group workshops, interspersed with a set of keynotes from, among others, Richard Dobbs, Director at McKinsey Global Institute.

Participants were able to meet and interact with senior London business and government leaders, such as Munira Mirza, Deputy Mayor for Culture and Education; Sir George Iacobescu, Chairman and Chief Executive of Canary Wharf Group, and Michele Dix, Managing Director of Crossrail 2.

We are now starting to plan next year’s Future Leaders programme, if you are interested in getting involved please keep an eye out at
