An Action Plan for London: launch of London First’s Employment and Skills Commission report

Tuesday 12 June 6:00PM - 8:30PM

London is a successful city, however it faces deep challenges with access to talent which risks undermining this. Left unchecked, Brexit and job automation could make matters worse and plunge London into an acute skills crisis.

London First established the London Employment and Skills Commission to tackle this head on. This event sees the launch of the Commission’s final report – An Employment and Skills Action Plan for London.

We are issuing a call to action for business, government and education to work together on a skills mission that will deliver a step change in apprenticeships and training for business.
Join us as we form a partnership for skills success in London and across the UK.

Security the Open Society for 2030

Tuesday 19 June - Thursday 21 June All Day

The summits and masterclasses are designed to address threats and responses in a number of key areas with which the UK and others are now grappling. They are also designed to develop thinking and potential lines of action in response to the safety, security and resilience consequences of developments that will have a massive impact on the future nature of society.
Both the summits and the masterclasses will provide scope for discussion of business opportunities and partnership agreements in the domestic and overseas contexts. These should interest delegates at the various events, and exhibitors will also find their commercial intelligences of value. Attendance at the summits also gives access to the main exhibition, and includes privileged seating at the associated masterclasses.
