This gala black tie evening will welcome business leaders from across all industry sectors as well as London stakeholders.

Planning Officer's Society and London First - Roundtable Breakfast on Good Growth by design - how to deliver density

The new London Plan introduces a step change for housing delivery in London, including a stronger emphasis on the need to make more efficient use of land through increased densities. The Density Matrix is replaced with a design led approach to site optimisation alongside new policies that promote building more homes on smaller sites, particularly in outer London. Design reviews and digital tools to enable better discussion on design outcomes are also promoted in the plan.

Life Sciences in London: A private dinner to explore better collaboration

London, Cambridge and Oxford form the “golden triangle” – a world-leading inter-connected region for life sciences research, development, manufacturing and commercialisation. London supports a range of such activity including the Harley Street Medical Area, the Francis Crick Institute, Wellcome Trust and University College Hospital); Imperial College London’s  White City Campus; around Whitechapel, associated with Queen Mary University of London; and the London Cancer Hub alongside the research and work being undertaken at London’s universities.
