A better land assembly model for London
How could a new approach to assembling land in the capital contribute to the draft London Plan’s target to deliver 65,000 new homes per year? Join us for an evening event with Deputy Mayor for Housing and Residential Development, James Murray, and other speakers, as we consider how to get more land, in the right places, at the right time and price, into the hands of those able to deliver the homes that London needs.
This event will feature the launch of new GLA-commissioned research to explore international models of land assembly, and how they could support an increase in and acceleration of homebuilding in London. This research has been delivered by a team led by Urbanism Environment and Design (URBED) and Housing Futures Ltd, supported by Dentons, Gerald Eve and Housing Future Ltd.
