In discussion with David Gauke MP: A plan for jobs and growth

Join us on 22 January for a discussion on driving jobs and growth across the country with the Financial Secretary to the Treasury, David Gauke MP, where, amongst other drivers, one of the key topics for debate will be that of international connectivity.

Ensuring London remains connected to high growth markets is vital to its long-term future economic growth; but while London currently attracts more foreign subsidiaries than any other city in the world, we are lagging behind competitor cities in building new air links with emerging economies.

To highlight this issue, the event will also see the publication of a new infographic focusing on the opportunity cost of failing to increase air capacity, in partnership with KPMG and Let Britain Fly – the campaign we initiated in 2013 to secure cross-party consensus on airports expansion.
