Leadership lecture – John Allan in conversation with the police

London First Chairman, John Allan CBE will be in conversation with Martin Hewitt Assistant Commissioner, Metropolitan Police Service on 19 January. This event forms part of our Leadership Exchange which is a joint mentoring scheme, pairing police and business leaders together to exchange expertise on leadership and management issues.

Please join us to hear John Allan CBE, exchanging leadership insights on business and policing with Martin Hewitt, Assistant Commissioner, Metropolitan Police Service.

John is chairman of two FTSE 100 companies, Tesco and Barratt Developments plc. He also chairs London First which gives him a unique, cross-sector view of the capital.

When John became Chairman of Tesco in 2015 it was billed as ‘the toughest job in the retail sector’. He will reveal which leadership skills he came to rely on, and what to prioritise when organisations are going through critical times, including business transformation and reputational challenges.

Part of our series of Leadership Lectures, the evening will inspire a spirit of collaboration between business and policing and cultivate new ways of tackling leadership challenges.
