LISTEN: The Challenges of Territorial Policing in London

At a breakfast briefing the Assistant Commissioner at the Met responsible for Territorial Policing in London gave a fascinating insight on Borough policing.

Crime may be down overall in London, but there are pockets of criminality which stretch the police service in serving Londoners as a whole.

AC Martin Hewitt QPM provided a unique insight on the problems his command faces, the priorities that he sets for Borough policing, and the way he believes the police, with finite resources, can address some of the stubborn challenges that his officers face every day on the streets of the capital.

The meeting was chaired by Cressida Dick CBE QPM, Director General at the FCO, and hosted by Hogan Lovells International LLP.
