No justification for Tube strikes

Commenting on this week’s Tube strike action by the RMT union

Baroness Jo Valentine, Chief Executive of London First, said:

“It’s hard to see any justification for turning what is basically an internal dispute into disruption and inconvenience for tube passengers. The RMT should consider the travelling public, on whom our economic recovery and its members’ livelihoods depend, and start treating them with respect rather than as a punchbag.”
