Part-time worker fares will help London thrive

Transport for London announced that it will introduce new pay as you go caps in 2015. David Leam, Director of Infrastructure at London First, welcomed TfL’s proposed pay as you go caps, saying:

“More and more businesses are encouraging staff to work park-time or flexibly and London’s transport system needs to reflect that,” he said.

“This could particularly help lower paid staff for whom travel costs make up a large proportion of their income.”

“London thrives on talent and the fewer obstacles there are to people working in what is already an expensive city, the better.”
