Share your views on London’s priorities for the next 20 years

If you haven’t already, there is still plenty of opportunity for you to feed in to our work to deliver an ambitious and business-led Economic Development Plan for London.

Working with the Mayor’s economic advisory body, the London Enterprise Panel, the plan we’re developing will create a set of priorities and actions to allow London to realise its economic ambitions to 2036.

There has been a very strong response to this work from members and stakeholders: so far we have spoken to more than 200 of London’s leaders about their priorities, through no less than 28 separate events, plus steering groups and one to one consultations during the first phase of the work, that is being supported by expert analysis from McKinsey & Company.  We’ve recently published the emerging themes and actions in our Economic Development Plan discussion document.

How you can get involved:

Over the coming weeks we are encouraging members to give their input, if they have not already done so, by attending either one of the breakfast roundtables on 12 August and 8 SeptemberAlternatively, please contact us to arrange a one to one briefing.

To ensure we gather the widest possible range of opinions from London’s broader business community, we also plan to run an SME-focused gallery-style event in autumn, in partnership with HSBC.

Our final report and recommendations will be issued toward the end of the year.
