Student immigration – consultation launched

Commenting on the launch of an eight week consultation on student migration visas

Baroness Jo Valentine, Chief Executive of London First, said:

“If there has to be a limit on student numbers, Government must ensure that the huge economic value which talented international students bring to the UK is retained. Any new restrictions must be carefully designed and implemented, so an eight week consultation period is welcome. We will respond to the consultation on behalf of business and education providers.”
