Vote for the Best of London planning

The London Planning Awards, now in its 14th year, is organised in partnership with the Mayor of London, London First, RTPI, Planning Officers Society (new for 2016) and London Councils, to recognise and reward best practice in planning in the capital.

We would like to thank the sponsors of the London Planning Awards who enable us to deliver this event: Anthology, Ballymore Group, Berwin Leighton Paisner, GL Hearn, Historic England, Hogan Lovells, Land Securities, Mount Anvil and Turley.

You can find last year’s winners here and watch the highlights from last year below.

The search has now begun to find the best of London planning in 2016/17.

Have you worked on, or know of, the next:

  • Best New Place to Work
  • Best Community-Led Project
  • Best Conceptual Project
  • Best New Public Space
  • Best New Place to Live
  • Best Project Five Years On
  • Best Heritage Led Project
  • Best Town Centre Project
  • Best Planning Authority

If so, please enter the London Planning Awards 2017 competition, by downloading and completing the electronic entry form(s), for the categories you would like to participate in.

Once you have completed the form, save it as a word document and send to Lizzi Tiplady, at ltiplady@londonfirst.co.uk along with up to 3 high resolution digital photographs at 300dpi via WeTransfer.

Please go to www.londonplanningawards.com for copies of the entry forms and judging criteria. All completed entries must be submitted by 5pm Friday 16 September 2016.

The shortlist and judging will take place in the autumn.

The winners will then be revealed and presented at City Hall on Monday 27 February 2017.

An ultimate winner will also be presented on the night with the Mayor’s Award for Planning Excellence.

Please note that we have one sponsorship package remaining to be profiled alongside this prestigious event. Do let us know if you would like more information on this opportunity.
