Who has done the most to make London special in 2015?

In January 2016, we will present the London First London Awards to celebrate the people, organisations or companies that have most contributed to making London the best city in the world in which to work, study, live and play.

You can nominate your choice in any or all of the categories. We will then invite you to vote on the shortlist in early December:

  • Champion for London
kindly sponsored by Bazalgette Tunnel Limited Anyone who has gone beyond what might be expected of them to champion London at home or abroad.
  • Improvement to Londoners’ Quality of Life
kindly sponsored by UK Power Networks In recognition of a London community initiative, better facilities and services, or simply something that makes you smile.
  • Investment in London’s Future
kindly sponsored by Grosvenor Britain & Ireland A visionary regeneration or development which reinforces London’s competitiveness in the long term.
  • Contribution to London’s Cultural Excellence
kindly sponsored by Radisson Blu Edwardian, London In appreciation of the creative sector’s contribution to London’s economy.

The categories have been deliberately left very open to allow the broadest range of nominees, so please take your chance to suggest which achievements and which achievers deserve this recognition. There can be only five winners. We expect debate, discussion, controversy, before a final vote in December!

Please click here to make your nominations – it will take just a few minutes. The deadline for nominations is tomorrow, Friday 20 November 2015.

The awards will be presented at the London First London Awards dinner at Sky Garden, on Tuesday 19 January 2016.

We only have 3 tables remaining for the awards dinner, do let Beena Chester know if you would like to join us at the event on
