London First is delighted to be partnering with Women in Planning and Montagu Evans on this event. Women in Planning recently found that only 17% of leadership roles in private planning consultancies are filled by women and yet the benefits of increasing gender diversity in organisations are widely known.
A number of senior figures in the property industry will be taking part in a roundtable discussion, including Juliemma McLaughlin, Head of Planning at the GLA, and Pooja Agrawal, Co-founder of Public Practice at the GLA. The discussion will consider how we can attract more women into planning, how we can retain them and ensure that those who want to, can be leaders in the sector.
Furthermore, how can the private sector learn from the public sector on diversity and inclusion and what do clients want from their consultancies? The roundtable will be attended by select guests from the industry, including London First members, who will observe proceedings and have the opportunity to contribute questions and comments to the debate. Due to capacity, attendance is by invitation only.
