Reception - Bringing COP26 to London

This pre-COP26 networking reception will see business leaders and public sector stakeholders hear inspiring speeches and take part in cross-sector discussion over drinks and a low carbon menu – provided by Compass Group UK & Ireland the COP26 caterers, to celebrate the role of London in meeting the UK’s 2050 net zero carbon commitment.

The capital has a strong track record on decarbonisation as a C40 city, with CO2 emissions down 40% in 2017 vs. 2000, but has a long way to go to achieve net zero. At this event we will share our thoughts on economic benefits of decarbonization opportunities that draw on the capital’s unique strengths as a centre of innovation to significantly reduce emissions, quickly, and to provide solutions that other cities across the UK can draw upon.
