Unlocking recovery: WORK - Transport and office workers

It had become clear that we are headed towards a new normal, not a return to 2019. A more flexible approach to work is likely to remain a feature of working life in London and global cities across the world, with a shift towards a new hybrid working model. This session will explore what this looks like, the implications for footfall in London and how the transport network will need to respond to meeting changing demand.

Unlocking recovery: PLAY - Visitor economy

The visitor economy is a critical part of London’s success and burial in supporting growth and thousands of jobs across the capital and beyond. Our panel will discuss the return of international tourists, what the timescales look like in specific markets, and the opportunities to be gained from encouraging more domestic tourism within the UK, as the boost to the visitor economy that will flow from the return to large scale events.

Unlocking recovery: LIVE – Culture and Place

A huge competitive advantage for London is the depth of its cultural offering, its diversity and its high-quality destinations, which draw people into the capital to live, work and play. In this session we explore how the cultural sector is viewing recovery, the challenges and opportunities thus poses, and the importance of good quality places in economic growth.
