01 Shaping the Mayor’s Skills Vision for London: Ensuring it meets business needs

Michelle Cuomo-Boorer, who leads the skills agenda at the GLA, will be speaking at the first of six sessions in our new skills series, one year on from London First’s Employment and Skills Action Plan.

The series will look at London’s future workforce challenges up to and beyond Brexit, and aims to highlight the necessary action to maintain London’s talent and skills.

This first session will focus on the Mayor’s new Employment and Skills vision for London, designed to ensure our capital remains business friendly, which forms part of the London’s Industrial Strategy.

Following Michelle’s remarks, we will also hear from business members of the London Enterprise Action Panel (LEAP), on their emerging ideas for the plan which will set out how London government, business and skills providers should work together to best deliver the skills business and Londoners need.
