Drones offer multiple opportunities for a global city like London for taking freight away from roads and in time offering passenger services. But they also pose multiple questions about issues such as safety, security and noise. 

This breakfast roundtable, held jointly with the Planning Officers’ Society, will explore the planning implications of drones from a range of perspectives. Our speakers include: — Gareth Sumner, Foresight Manager in Transport for London’s Innovation Directorate, who led on TfL’s work on drones on a recent Nesta project; — Duncan Walker, Managing Director of Skyports, a company working to create a network of vertical take-off and landing sites, including London
