OBR report shows that no-deal must be avoided, says London First
18 July 2019
Commenting on the Office for Budget Responsibilities (OBR) economic assessment in the event of a no-deal Brexit, Jasmine Whitbread, Chief Executive of London First, said:
“This is yet another reminder of why the UK must avoid a disorderly exit from the EU. A no-deal exit would hit the livelihoods of those who can least afford it, as well as inflicting huge economic damage.
“The only sensible step now is to give the UK public the opportunity to have a definitive vote on the terms of a revised withdrawal agreement.”
