There’s no denying infrastructure is a hot topic for the press right now; news of Crossrail’s autumn 2019 delay is disappointing for business, whilst calls for a concrete decision on Crossrail 2 continue as part of a push for investment both north and south.
Our chief executive Jasmine will be opening the Summit by calling for renewed ambition on future infrastructure investment in London that keeps our capital working for the UK.
We’ll hear from senior politicians and policymakers such as Jo Johnson MP, Minister for London, Sir John Armitt from the National Infrastructure Commission, Deputy Mayors Heidi Alexander and Jules Pipe and the GLA’s Chief Digital Officer Theo Blackwell.
We will also be joined by sector leaders from rail, aviation, urban mobility, water, digital, housing and waste.
But the debate will be very much open to the floor throughout the Summit, and we’ll be asking what a vision for London’s infrastructure looks like to you? What needs to be overcome to now realise this vision and how does business play its part?
