London has a reputation as a centre for excellence in financial services, including in the infrastructure finance market. By pioneering the use of private capital models since the late eighties, the UK – and specifically the capital – has historically dominated Europe’s infrastructure market for private capital. However, the abolition of the Private Finance Initiative and broader concerns around the impact of Brexit are raising questions about London’s.
