How London’s employers, educators and leaders have responded to Covid-19
We’ve been sharing asks with the Government and setting out what should come next. We have focused on three critical areas:
The Government has taken bold, decisive action, but it must continue to stop people falling through the cracks
The Government should closely monitor the unlocking process and provide additional targeted action to support sectors that will be the last to reopen.
While public health remains rightly front of mind, we need to plan ahead
The Government should demonstrate that it has the plans in place to accelerate economic recovery as soon as restrictions can be lifted.
So much has been achieved but more must be done to make recovery joined up
We’re part of the Mayor’s Recovery and the Government’s Transition boards, directly contributing the views of London businesses: now is the time to bring this thinking together to accelerate the pace of recovery.

Because I’m a Londoner
Get involved in the collective effort to rebuild consumer confidence across London. If you run a London business, you can now promote it as part of the citywide marketing campaign Because I’m a Londoner. The campaign aims to inspire a recovery in consumer spending in the capital, by encouraging Londoners to rediscover their neighbourhoods and support local businesses. We invite all London businesses to join us and promote their business with #BecauseImALondoner.
We’ve been sharing our response to the crisis via a series of blogs:
