Deploying private investment at scale will be a critical part of the capital’s future and its longer-term recovery following the Covid-19 pandemic. Almost half of the UK’s future infrastructure pipeline is forecast to be privately financed, and London First is working with public and private sector partners to ensure the benefits of private capital are harnessed for the capital.
Read our report published with Arcadis on the role of private capital in securing London’s future infrastructure. Taking a case-study led approach, the report highlights how challenges can be addressed and investment harnessed.
We have three live work programmes looking at:
- The role of private capital in delivering London’s future economic infrastructure needs.
- How we can incentivise more private investment to deliver affordable housing in the capital at scale.
- Funding mechanisms to deliver improved public realm in central London.
We are running a series of workshops and roundtables that support these work programmes. If you would like to get involved, please contact Daniel Mahoney.
