Angela is Managing Director, ITV Studios Entertainment, the biggest entertainment producer in the UK. Producing nearly 1,000 hours of television for every major broadcaster, the multiple award-winning shows range from The Voice to I’m A Celebrity to University Challenge and Love Island. Prior to that Angela spent over 15 years in Commissioning working for 3 different broadcasters. She ran E4 during which time she commissioned The Inbetweeners and Misfits and acquired The Big Bang Theory. Under her tenure, the Channel won Broadcast Channel of the Year. Whilst she was in charge of ITV2 Angela commissioned Love Island (the channel’s biggest ever show), the multiple award-winning comedy Plebs and The Big Reunion and fought off stiff competition to scoop Family Guy, a landmark acquisition for ITV2. She is the only diverse person to have run a TV channel in this country. Angela started her career in TV production producing and directing across a variety of genres.
Angela also sits on the board of the Edinburgh TV Festival and Film London. When she is not working, her incurable wanderlust takes her to far flung places with her family and sometimes she is just as happy to be at home cooking in the kitchen.
