Senior Events Assistant

This post plays a pivotal role in the support of the events programme, reporting to the Head of Events whilst contributing to the smooth running of the wider corporate affairs team and business. Programme Director - Housing

This role is a key member of the Place Team (within the Policy Team), leading on and helping set the policy agenda for London First’s housing policy work in line with our business plan. The post holder will create a programme of policy outputs and member engagement opportunities in our housing portfolio. The post holder is also responsible for account management and securing the annual renewals of members with a housing and architectural focus.

Events Manager - 12 month FTC

The Events Manager plays a key role in both the planning and delivery of the events programme, including providing on-job instruction, support and training to the events coordinators. The events team delivers a varied programme of c.120 events per year, ranging from small policy roundtables to large commercial conferences and awards. This mix of policy and commercial activity provides the backbone for much of London First’s engagement with both members and stakeholders, and as such is a critical delivery function for both our political influence and our commercial income.

The Events Manager, working with the Senior Events Manager, is responsible for the operational delivery of our commercial events and high-profile policy events.

You will be an experienced events professional, combining first-rate organisation, communication and teamworking skills with innovative instinct and a keen commercial interest.

Marketing Manager - 6 month FTC

This role sits within a newly formed Brand & Marketing team at London First which aims to create a compelling proposition that supports recruitment and retention, grows commercial income, and drives our visual identity and content with a focus on digital, showcasing our activity and events.

The purpose of the role is to develop, project manage and deliver marketing strategies and plans for key campaigns, policy initiatives and events.

The post holder will oversee the digital and offline marketing activity and content schedule, in addition to collateral production, copy writing, content curation and editing plus managing external suppliers to produce collateral and events materials.

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for both marketing and project management of events marketing which will include, stakeholder and member engagement, delegate, sponsor and exhibitor sales and operations. The post holder will report directly to the Director of Brand & Marketing and work closely with the Marketing Executive and Events team.

You will be an experienced marketer, combining first-rate communication and project management skills with a creative flair and an eye for detail, as well as a top team player who can work well with a wide range of colleagues and partners.
