Careers Advice: Inspiring London’s people into great jobs

Making sure everyone has access to high-quality careers advice is vital to attracting diverse talent, driving your employee pipelines, and building a sustainable future for businesses. This session will explore how we can create a world-leading service in London, and how employers can get involved. With many school leavers and adults often facing poor quality careers advice as highlighted in the Mayor’s Careers for London Action Plan, this is an opportunity to connect employers, careers service providers and policymakers to take a deep dive into the challenges, discuss how to improve careers provision in London and signpost how employers can get involved through the new Careers Hubs. This session will build relationships between business and education, and inform our policy asks of central Government and the GLA as we look to build a London Careers Service.
