Leading London Dinner with the Rt Hon Kemi Badenoch MP, Secretary of State for Business and Trade

Our Leading London dinners provide an opportunity for a small group of senior leaders within BusinessLDN membership to meet and discuss a topical business issue over dinner. All discussions take place under the Chatham House rule. For this dinner we will be joined by The Rt Hon Kemi Badenoch MP, Secretary of State for Business and Trade on London’s role in attracting Foreign Direct Investment to the UK, as well as her other priorities within the Department for Business and Trade. Kemi was appointed Secretary of State for the Department for Business and Trade on 7 February 2023. She remains Secretary of State for International Trade and President of the Board of Trade, which she was appointed to on 6 September 2022, and Minister for Women and Equalities for the Equality Hub, which she was appointed to on 25 October 2022. Previously she was Minister of State at the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, Minister of State (Minister for Equalities), Exchequer Secretary to the Treasury and Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Education.
