Private investment into affordable housing: a discussion with London’s boroughs and the GLA

Join us for a discussion about the role of private investment in affordable housing in London. We will be joined by Tom Copley, Deputy Mayor for Housing and Residential Development at the GLA, and are inviting Councillors and officers from across London’s boroughs to join this discussion In October last year, in partnership with CBRE, we published a report which makes the case for private investment in affordable housing. The report sets out how such investment can be harnessed to increase house building, deliver social good and the steps that should be taken to secure more of this investment in London. This event will bring together investors, residential developers and boroughs in London to hear about the different types of structures that are emerging to facilitate private investment and to consider the opportunities and challenges associated with this topic as viewed by the boroughs.
