Briefing
BusinessLDN is proud to be leading the London Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) in partnership with the Federation of Small Businesses London (FSB), London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), and Confederation of British Industry London (CBI), to create a unified approach to tackle labour and skills shortages, with the backing of the Mayor of London and London government. The LSIP is a Department for Education-led initiative that will play a key role in tackling skills shortages by bringing employers, educators and other key stakeholders together to create a blueprint for transforming the skills system in the capital which ensures training matches the needs of London’s economy. We’d be delighted for you to join us for this in person session introducing the LSIP, where we will be identifying the skills all sectors need to help us paint a pan-London picture of skills demand, consider the barriers preventing both employers from getting what they need and Londoners from less advantaged backgrounds accessing jobs, and consider how training could be delivered more effectively.
